Sculpture 1: MORE THAN A CLIFF, 2021

Fired clay, painted with iron oxide before the second firing

Height about 18 cm

Private collection

 

The piece is almost entirely modelled with my fingers from a lump of clay. The iron oxide colour intensifies the depth of the modelling.

 

The photographs were taken moving the sculpture in a clockwise rotation.
