Sculptures

 In the autumn of 2021, I began making sculptures from clay. The first sculpture is called More than a Cliff, the second one is Dance. Sculpture 3 is named SPRING, number 4: GROWING, and number 5: TRACES.

Here they are shown in reverse chronology.

I experimented with different colours and textures of clay in order to develop a feeling for the different nuances of the material but also with varied ways of modelling or constructing abstract sculptures. Whereas More than a Cliff has almost entirely been shaped with my fingers, the others were created using a mixture of tools and finger tips.
